Running the hub on your own node, day to day: deploy it as a service, decide how machines reach it, back it up, upgrade it, watch it, and get a nudge when something starts waiting on you.

Deploy as a service - Run the hub under Podman Quadlet or Docker, and start it on boot
Network and access - Bind the hub, terminate TLS, or reach it over a tailnet
Back up and restore - Back up, verify, and restore the hub store as one unit
Upgrade and roll back - Migrate forward on upgrade, and roll back to an earlier store
Monitoring - Watch health, metrics, integrity, and the limits that grow with use
Notifications - Nudge a closed app through a notification target you run
